Dan is a genuine all-rounder and one of the more well-credentialed young cricketers on the market, a two-way player who has represented county cricket, bowled to international batsmen, and already proven his game across three continents.
A right-handed middle-order batsman, Daniel is a solid, dependable performer with the bat, the kind of all-rounder who offers a side real depth rather than a token contribution. He has the temperament to anchor the middle order and the composure to build an innings under pressure, whilst having the ability to go up a gear when required.
With the ball, Daniel bowls right-arm off spin, and it is here that his pedigree truly stands out: he has served as a net bowler for both the England and India international teams, testing his craft against some of the best batsmen in the world. That experience speaks to the quality and control of his off spin. He is a genuine wicket-taking, run-restricting option that gives his captain real balance and a frontline spin threat, not a part-time roll of the arm.
Daniel's cricket has been built at a high level. He has represented Lincolnshire County Cricket Club and captained their academy side - a mark of both his ability and his leadership. He has developed his game through the prestigious Yorkshire Cricket College in Headingley, training under elite coaching and in world-class facilities. An ECB Level 2 qualified coach, he understands the game deeply, which shows in the maturity of his decision-making on the field.
What sets Daniel apart at this stage of his career is experience beyond his years. He has played in South Africa, featured in the European Cricket Network in Jersey, and in Australia having spent the 2025/26 season playing in Melbourne with West Ivanhoe CC. He has already lived and performed in Australian conditions, adapted to unfamiliar surfaces, and shown he can deliver away from home. For a club weighing up an import, that takes the risk out of the decision: Daniel has done it before, and he is coming back for more.
Dan also performs his own cricket coaching under DM Coaching where he assists in training sessions and academies alongside delivering 1:1 coaching sessions with young cricketers.
Now playing his cricket for Lascelles Hall CC in the ECB Huddersfield Championship, Dan is currently the club's leading run scorer and is looking set to continue piling on the runs a remain at the top or the runs. He is a young, ambitious all-rounder with county pedigree, international net experience and a proven ability to adapt overseas.
