Jack is a young middle-order batting all-rounder developing his game at one of West Yorkshire's leading clubs. A right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace seamer, he is a two-way cricketer with a strong junior record and senior silverware already to his name.
With the bat, Jack is a middle-order player who has proven he can contribute when it counts. On a loan spell at Great Horton Park Chapel CC he played a key role as a middle-order batsman in a league-winning campaign - a young player trusted to deliver in a title run, not just make up the numbers. Through the Woodlands junior ranks he was a multiple Top Run Scorer, a consistent marker of someone who scores runs season after season rather than in one-off flashes.
With the ball, Jack offers a genuine second string as a right-arm medium-pacer, giving his captain a useful change option and the kind of all-round balance that adds depth to a side.
Jack's cricket has been built within a strong development environment. He came through the Bradford junior and representative pathway, including the Taverners Under-15s, and was part of a Woodlands Under-15 side that lifted the Cup. He now plays his senior cricket at Woodlands CC in the Bradford Premier League (one of the most competitive leagues in the country) where he is establishing himself as a middle-order batsman and seam-bowling option.
Off the field, Jack is already contributing to the next generation as an Assistant Coach with Woodlands CC's juniors, with hands-on experience across junior age groups, and is working towards his ECB Level 1 coaching qualification.
Young, developing and hungry to test himself, Jack Pearson is a middle-order batting all-rounder with a strong grounding at a leading club and the appetite to keep improving.
