Kyle is a hugely talented all-rounder. By nature, he is an attacking batsman that enjoys taking the attack to the opposition bowlers. He has a great ability to score runs all around the ground which is what makes him a prolific run scorer. A very adaptable batsman, he is able to switch up his game plan well based on what's needed from him. With that bat, he is often seeing occupying the top order and of late has been seen opening the batting with the intention of getting his team off to a good start.
With the ball, he provides a very useful and unique bowling style, having the ability to bowl leg spin and off spin. Typically a leg spinner, he can also bowl good off spin and has often done both in matches. Usually leg spin to a right-hander and off spin to a left-hander. Talk about match-ups!
Kyle's professional cricketing journey started at Border before moving to Eastern Province where he played for Division 1 side the Warriors. During this time he performed well but soon opportunities became limited due to the strength of the Warriors. Wanting to play more, he moved to South Western Districts where he has played a key role at the top of the order. During the 2024/25 season he scored his maiden First-Class century and finished the season with an average of 31.70.
In 2024 and 2025, he was signed with Scottish premier league club, Falkland CC. During his time at the club he was a consistent run scorer that produced a number of match-winning performances.
In the past year, Kyle has improved by leaps and bounds, getting better each year which is testament to his dedication and hard work.
Off the field, Kyle is a positive presence around every team he plays for. His friendly and easy-going personality makes it easy for him to fit into new environments and is always willing to help out and get involved.
Seeking a return to the UK, Kyle is looking to showcase his talent and improvement once again. He would be an excellent signing for any club looking for a talented batting all-rounder guaranteed to produce match-winning performances throughout the season.
