Lewis is a talented young cricketer. He currently plays for Sprotbrough CC who compete in the Championship Division (one below premier) of the Yorkshire Cricket Southern Premier League. He also plays for the Nottingham Trent University 1st XI and is currently president of the union.
Primarily a batsman, he is capable of batting anywhere in the top 6. Although having experience batting at the top of the order for his university and previous clubs, he now occupies the middle order for Sprotbrough CC. He bats with good temperament, valuing his wicket and then enjoys taking the attack to the bowlers especially spin bowlers to prevent them from settling into a rhythm. Despite not bowling much in recent years, Lewis does offer up as a handy bowling option with his medium pacers.
Growing up, Lewis showed great potential having represented Yorkshire and South Yorkshire from u9 to u15. He attended Worksop College, a prestigious private school with a rich cricketing history and played for prominent South Yorkshire club Sheffield Collegiate CC. The same school and club as England superstar, Joe Root.
Lewis is renowned for his fielding, often spoken about as one of the league's top fielders. He is very agile in the field, puts his body on the line and has a safe pair of hands.
Lewis is now seeking his maiden season in Australia. A talented all-round cricketer, a great bloke off the field and a true clubman, he would make for a great signing for the 2025/26 season.
