Maaz is a young bowler with huge potential and talent. His tall and strong stature enables him to be a deadly fast bowler. He is your typical aggressive fast bowler (just what every team loves to have).
He has the ability to move the ball both ways but it's his natural in-swinging deliveries that bring him fortune with the ball. At the pace he bowls and the amount of swing he is able to generate it makes it hard work to keep out even for some of the top players. His competitive nature and continued determination to take wickets gives him that added edge to his bowling. With that, his height, big in-swinger, and pace Maaz is a formidable wicket-taker.
His current batting stats are not a relfection on his batting ability. Lower down the order he is more than capable of holding his own, building partnerships and producing a match winning innings. Whilst playing Grade 2 for Pak-Saudi International (one below FC), Maaz scored 424 runs with an average of 32.62.
Growing up, Maaz showed great potential having represented notable sides such as Sindh u16, Karachi u16 and Sindh Blues u19, before getting his breakthrough at the start of 2025 for Higher Education Commission. Being his debut First Class season, Maaz wanted to impress and he did just that by taking 18 wickets in 7 matches.
Unfortunately with the recent and sudden restructuring of the Pakistan Domestic teams, Maaz's team was cut from the tournament. He hasn't let this hinder his career and is currently trialling with other teams.
Maaz is now seeking his maiden UK season and would be a great signing for any club looking to bolster their quick attack.
